Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday reflected on the NDA government’s 11-year journey, highlighting major strides in women-led development and farmer welfare. In a series of posts on X, he credited “Nari Shakti” and hardworking farmers as central pillars of India’s progress.

“Over the last 11 years, the NDA Government has redefined women-led development,” PM Modi said. “From Swachh Bharat ensuring dignity to Jan Dhan Yojana promoting financial inclusion, the focus has consistently been on empowering women.”

He noted that women are now excelling and inspiring across diverse fields, including science, education, sports, StartUps, and the armed forces. He also spotlighted flagship schemes such as:

  • Ujjwala Yojana: Bringing smoke-free kitchens to millions of homes.
  • MUDRA loans: Enabling lakhs of women entrepreneurs to build self-reliant businesses.
  • PM Awas Yojana: Providing housing under women’s names, boosting social security.
  • Beti Bachao Beti Padhao: Sparking a national movement to protect and educate the girl child.

In addition to women’s empowerment, PM Modi emphasized the transformative impact of the government’s pro-farmer policies. Highlighting initiatives like PM Kisan Samman Nidhi and Kisan Fasal Bima Yojana, he said these programs have enhanced both dignity and income for the country’s food producers.

“Our farmer brothers and sisters were once forced to borrow for even basic needs. Today, due to government initiatives, their lives have become easier,” he said. The Prime Minister also pointed out the steady increase in Minimum Support Prices (MSP), improved soil health measures, and enhanced irrigation as crucial achievements that have revitalized the agriculture sector.

Looking ahead, PM Modi assured that the government’s focus on women empowerment and farmer welfare would continue with renewed vigour.
