The Prime Minister also inquired about the state’s weather conditions amid continuous rain and snowfall, assuring that the central government would provide all possible assistance to manage the crisis.
Meanwhile, CM Dhami has departed from Dehradun for Joshimath to oversee the situation on the ground and review rescue efforts firsthand.

Uttarakhand State Disaster Management Secretary Vinod Kumar Suman confirmed that the relief efforts are progressing swiftly under the Chief Minister’s active supervision. “Inclement weather persists there. The Chief Minister is continuously monitoring the situation. He visited the control room twice yesterday. He sought a detailed update on everything. Rescue and relief operations are taking place swiftly,” Suman told ANI.
