Union Home Minister Amit Shah has praised the release of Modi’s Niti Shastra: The World’s His Oyster, describing it as a timely and insightful chronicle of India’s legal and governance transformation under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The book, authored by senior advocate Dr. Adish C Aggarwala, coincides with the NDA government’s 11th anniversary and captures Modi’s legacy through landmark legal reforms and cultural milestones.

Shah called the book “a matter of abundant joy” and lauded its in-depth analysis of legislative reforms that have redefined India’s justice system, enhanced governance efficiency, and preserved the nation’s cultural identity. He noted that it offers readers a valuable look into the principles shaping Modi’s policy decisions.

The 560-page volume covers pivotal developments such as the abrogation of Article 370, the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, and the repeal of colonial-era laws. It also documents the overhaul of India’s criminal justice system and outlines the government’s efforts to create a more accountable and citizen-centric legal framework.

Structured around four major reform pillars, the book highlights:

  1. India as a Global Legal Pioneer – with leadership in digital governance, fintech, and environmental legislation.
  2. Dismantling Colonial Legacy – through the removal of outdated British-era laws and strengthening India’s legal sovereignty.
  3. Minimum Government, Maximum Governance – simplifying bureaucratic processes and enhancing ease of living.
  4. Dynamic and Democratic Legal Foundations – promoting transparency, digital welfare delivery, and equitable access to resources.

Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, in his foreword, praised the book as a critical work documenting India’s legal evolution and Modi’s role in modernizing the justice system.

Dr. Aggarwala, also the Chairman of the All India Bar Association, awarded Modi a 95% score for his legal reforms, asserting that the Prime Minister has combined strategic foresight with deep institutional transformation.

Published as a collector’s edition in a premium six-colour format on Japanese Mat Art paper, Modi’s Niti Shastra is aimed at legal scholars, policymakers, and professionals around the globe, offering a comprehensive view of the far-reaching impact of Modi’s governance.
