Riddhima Kapoor Sahni brought elegance and grace to the runway on the second day of Hyundai India Couture Week (ICW) 2025, turning showstopper for celebrated designer Suneet Varma.
Draped in a dreamy pastel ensemble adorned with delicate floral embroidery in shades of pink and green and accented with golden threadwork, Riddhima exuded timeless charm. The outfit featured a flowing sheer cape, adding a fairytale-like aura to her look. With sleek straight hair and minimal makeup, she let the outfit do the talking.
Suneet Varma’s latest collection, inspired by twilight and the essence of femininity, showcased soft hues, intricate hand embroidery, and romantic silhouettes. “Each outfit reflects charm, mystery, and elegance,” Varma said.
Speaking to ANI, Riddhima described the collection as “wearable, stylish, and comfortable,” aligning with her personal fashion mantra. “I always prefer comfort over trends. One should embrace their own style and confidence instead of blindly following others,” she shared.
Designer Suneet Varma praised Riddhima as the ideal muse, highlighting her multifaceted life as a yoga enthusiast, jewellery designer, devoted mother, and now a budding actress. “She represents today’s empowered woman—graceful yet strong,” he remarked.
India Couture Week 2025, presented by the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) in partnership with Reliance Brands, runs through July 30, closing with a showcase by JJ Valaya.
On the film front, Riddhima has wrapped her acting debut alongside comedian Kapil Sharma and her mother, veteran actress Neetu Kapoor. The film also features Sadia Khateeb, Sarath Kumar, and Aditi Mittal. Though details remain under wraps, Riddhima revealed that her brother Ranbir Kapoor has been guiding her through the experience.
“He always advises me on everything,” she said, adding that working with her mother was an especially memorable experience.
