Across India, preparations are in full swing with flag-hoisting ceremonies, cultural programs, and patriotic events planned in towns and cities.

In Doda district, the administration has distributed one lakh national flags under the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign. A massive Tiranga Yatra was organised on Tuesday, where children unfurled a 1,508-metre-long national flag.

“Within the next 2–3 days, we will conclude our ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ program. We have also distributed one lakh flags to officials. I urge everyone to join the campaign and hoist the Tiranga at their homes,” said Doda Deputy Commissioner Harvinder Singh.

Earlier in the day, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, accompanied by his wife Sonal Shah, hoisted the tricolour at their residence in Delhi’s Krishna Menon Marg, marking his participation in the nationwide campaign.

Launched under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the Ministry of Culture’s ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ initiative is now in its fourth edition, inspiring citizens to bring the national flag into their homes and hearts. Over five lakh young people have registered for the campaign this year, according to the ministry.
